A modern day descendant of Merlin embarks on a quest to find a spellbook and stop Morgana. Alex Knight, a high school kid, discovers that he is a descendant of the sorcerer Merlin. Alex is forced into a quest to free Merlin from his prison in order to save his friend, Caleb when he discovers Merlin is not who he says he is. Alex must discover the truth and save his friend before it's too late.
